Discovery Logging, Inc. is pleased to announce the development of an "on screen" display for horizontal wells. This presentation is incorporated within the Mainlog Office Program. Discovery worked closely with Mainlog's, Dave Fuller, to develop this horizontal mudlog that is easy to use, view, and print. The log shows ROP, Gas, Lithology, MWD Gamma Ray, Actual Well Path, Target Well Path, an Anchor Gamma Ray from the pilot hole, and a Target Gamma if available. A regional dip number can be entered which will adjust the target gamma, accordingly, throughout the projected length of the lateral. Also, by right clicking anywhere on the curve path, a display box appears listing the Horizontal Data, which includes, Measured Depth, TVD, Inclination, Azimuth, Total Gas, and ROP.
